What to turn in: A short story, poem, song, or narrative.
Requirements: The piece must be of sufficient length and quality to challenge you.
Based on what you know about the interaction between the Tainos, Columbus, Columbus's Men, King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella, and the System of Empire, write a short story, poem, song, or narrative that tells this story in a way that you feel is important that it be remembered. Your piece can be as imaginative as you wish, but it needs to be grounded in events that did, or probably could have, actually happened. There is no length requirement. You must produce a piece that is of sufficient length and quality to challenge you. Your piece is due next class, Thursday, February 28th.
