It is fall student-teacher-parent conference time! Upper school advisors host conferences in the weeks following Thanksgiving break. This should give families time to reflect on the midterm progress reports which should have arrived over the break.

GCC Tunisia video conference opportunity THIS Saturday!
About the video conference
How often do you get to have a meaningful conversation with peers from half way across the globe? Well this upcoming Saturday you will have the opportunity to speak with youth from Gafsa, Tunisia. This is a tremendous opportunity as Tunisia is just weeks removed from its first fair and free election! The youth you will be speaking with are at the forefront of promoting change having lived through their country’s recent revolution. They are taking an active role in Tunisia to shape their future and build a new societal framework. Come share your culture, tradition and views on current events as you dialogue with your Tunisian peers during this remarkable period in history!
The video conference itself will take about one hour and will be preceded by a one hour preparation workshops. During the hour before the video conference you will have time to devise questions as a group to make sure all participants are prepared and comfortable for the video conference. Your Tunisian peers will all speak English so there is no foreign language requirement.
